
Busovača is located in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the place where the roads of the Lasva and Lepenica valleys cross. The municipality of Busovača covers an area of 158 square kilometers, where a total of 47 inhabited places are located.
Busovača was mentioned for the first time on August 16, 1371. The history of Busovača is very significant and rich, for example, all interested visitors can see tombstones, necropolises of the Stećaks, which bear witness to the turbulent past, testify to the meeting of different cultures and traditions in these areas.
Busovača suffered great destruction during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, these were the most difficult moments in the history of the municipality, yet with the persistence and enthusiasm of the local population, they started to build a better and brighter future, step by step.
