Busovača is located in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the place where the roads of the Lasva and Lepenica valleys cross. The municipality of Busovača covers an area of 158 square kilometers, where a total of 47 inhabited places are located.

Busovača was mentioned for the first time on August 16, 1371. The municipality of Busovača is located on three beautiful mountain rivers Ivančići, Kozići and Lašva… Recently, Busovača has become an interesting tourist destination, more and more guests come for winter tourism, but there is also hiking, sport fishing, cycling, etc to be enjoyed.

Important roads have always led through Busovača, so that the need to receive guests arose by itself, catering establishments were opened spontaneously and captivated with their gastronomic offers, so the catering industry was and remains an important stronghold of the development of the entire municipality.

The history of Busovača is very significant and rich, for example, all interested visitors can see tombstones, necropolises of the Stećaks, which bear witness to the turbulent past, testify to the meeting of different cultures and traditions in these areas.

Busovača suffered great destruction during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, these were the most difficult moments in the history of the municipality, yet with the persistence and enthusiasm of the local population, they started to build a better and brighter future, step by step.
