Dear friends of sport fishing,
It is a great honor for Bosnia and Herzegovina to be a host of the 21st World Championship in the discipline “Carnivorous AB Shore SPIN”, which will be held from May 15 to 19, 2024 in Kiseljak, city on four rivers, one of which, Lepenica, will host this important event.

Although small in the world of fishing, Bosnia and Herzegovina has enviable experience behind it in organizing club, European and world championships such as:

• 27th World Clubs Fishing Championship 2007, held in the city of Čapljina;
• 16th European Fly Fishing Championship 2010, held in the city of Banja Luka;
• 15th World Fishing Championship for Disabled and 6th World Fishing Championship for Veterans 2013, held in the city of Čapljina – Karaotok;
• 35th World Fly Fishing Championship 2015, held in the city of Jajce.
• 16th World Championship „ Carnivorous AB Shore – SPIN”, held in 2018 in East Sarajevo.
• 20th World Championship for youth in fly fishing, held in 2023 in Mostar.

For all the successfully organized events so far, we have received praise from the biggest officials of this sport. Therefore, I have no doubt that this event will be at an enviable level, to the satisfaction of all participants and fishing enthusiasts.

I wish you a pleasant stay in our country, in the town of Kiseljak and on the beautiful competition trails of the Lepenica River.
